how to save a life?

juz wanna share with all of u future docs...

if one ur patient is in the state of comma for almost a year (or maybe more)...
and is dependent to the life-support machine...
and has no chances of regaining consciousness...
with all of the patient's organs not functioning on its own..

would it be reasonable to turn off the life - support machine??

is it a sin to do so...since ur "killing" him silently?
or choose to let him die naturally...(in agony for a long time)
or would it be a good excuse to pull the plug..(to end his suffering)

hmmm...think bout it folks!! share ur opinions in this blog...(active la ckit Jone 08!)

well, to me, depends on the situation. In normal condition i refuse to do so. But note that the support machine is always on demand. If the patient has no chance of surviving, and there aren't enuf . support machine plus, lives are depending on it. Then why not?
